Grows 3-3.5’ tall and has abundant dark purple, late spring/early summer blooms. Prized as a beautiful cut flower, the nectar in its claw-shaped petals attracts hummingbirds and other pollinators. Refrigerate seed for 7 days prior to planting, then direct sow in the spring when soil temperatures reach 65 degrees. Prefers partial shade.
